There are many ways that community sponsors can contribute to the efforts of the Farmers Market.
Please contact us to discuss what efforts would best represent your group or organization: 360-740-1295
We are currently looking for sponsors to assist in developing our Kids Program,
EBT/SNAP/WIC Matching programs, Event & Fundraising efforts, and more.
Contact our Market Manager at 360-740-1295 or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
Currently, we would like to thank WSECU for sponsoring our Musician/Entertainment tent at each week's market. They also help to offer market produce wagons, and token giveaways which bring more produce and market products to our community and enhance the atmosphere at our community market.
TwinStar Credit Union is sponsoring our credit, debit, and EBT processing technology! They ensure that we are reaching each corner of our community by offering access to many forms of payment for healthy and local foods.
Southwest Washington Family Magazine sponsors our SW WA Family Day each year! They coordinate and bring games and prizes that keep the entire family having fun!
TheWSU Extension office has provided our market with valuable office space, administrative assistance, and guidance since our inception. Thank you to our our community for all your support!
The Community Farmers Market believes in partnering with our community for the success of all.
If you want to get involved, please contact us. They say it takes a village...
Volunteering is a great way to get involved in the community, meet your local farmers, and enhance or learn new skills. Some volunteer positions can help earn hours towards tickets at our events or Market tokens to spend at Market!
Some roles we need help filling are:
Event and Party Planner: Work with manager and other volunteers to plan, advertise, and execute fundraisers and market day activities. Hours and schedule flexible.
Market Day Aide: Get to know farmers and your community while helping with the operation of the market information booth, including answering questions about the market and operating the wireless card machine for EBT/debit/credit customers. Tuesdays, hours flexible.
Office Help: We need help in a variety of ways, using a variety of skills! Help us make better use of our photo library by labeling photographs. Get the word out in the community about market by writing press releases, newsletter articles, or social media posts. We have a table top display that needs updating, plus an endless supply of filing! Hours can be flexible.
We are also looking for other skills to assist on occasion: Photographer, Website Development, Artists Event Set-up and Clean-up.
